ART IN LOV
or oficcially, Loviisan taiteen tukiyhdistys ry – Stödföreningen för Lovisa konst rf, is the association behind ART IN LOV RESIDENCE. We arrange exhibitions and culture events. Our goal is to enrich the art- and culture life in Loviisa by organising interesting and diverse exhibitions and art and culture events. We work with local artists as well as Finish and international artists.
ART IN LOV RESIDENCE
Art in Lov Residence is an artist’s recidency in Loviisa, Finland. The distinctive thing about the residency is our focus on collaboration with local partners, opportunity for participation, local activities and art in public spaces. Artists are invited both through open calls and as curated invitations.
KUCKU FESTIVAL is the best (and only) art biennale in Loviisa. The festival is arranged in collaboration with Loviisa Contemporary r.y. Loviisa Contemporary is the main organizer and Art in Lov invites residence artists and Local artists to work in collaboration with the residence artists to produce work to be shown at the festival.
